Greetings!
I survived. Two days off work and I have rejoined the world. But I have to say, I rather enjoyed because a recluse. I would seriously like to be one. Because it's kind of awesome (with the exception of restless dogs!) I guess you could say I am bit of a loner. Okay, so my husband was home too so I guess I wasn't TOTALLY alone. But still. There's something to be said for quiet time.
I spent most of my time iced in with JANE EYRE. I majored in English in college and somehow I never read this one. Heard of it, of course. Never read it. I guess because I never had to. But I am about halfway through it now and LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. It's so creepy and romantic. J'adore!
I also worked a bit on Shiny New Idea. I wrote a little synopsis for it and started to get to know my characters a bit. Writing bits and pieces here and there.
This post has no theme. Just random thoughts from the former recluse.
It feels like Monday.
But it's Thursday.
AWESOME.
Glad to hear you survived! I love JANE EYRE too! And, yay for shiny new idea! Those are always so much fun!
ReplyDeleteHurray! Snow and ice is only good for writing progress!
ReplyDeleteWe are scheduled for our ICEpocalypse in the next few hours. Should be iced in tomorrow, schools are already scheduled to shut down.
ReplyDeleteSO, it's Thursday but feels like Friday. Also Awesome.lol
I plan to hermit it up myself.
Ha...all day I've been thinking it's monday (you know, in that abstract way that days of the week feel.) I'm so glad that tomorrows Friday though! It's like I got two weekend this week :)
ReplyDeleteCome to think of it...I've never actually had a snow day before...

I always get cabin fever during snow. I don't think it's being a recluse...I think it's knowing I can't go anywhere that bothers me. As long as I can get out if I absolutely have to, I'm fine!
