I had a dream last night that I was on a tropical island. Not only was I there but I had, like, MOVED there. All of my animals were present and the house I lived in was huge. I went swimming with my dogs (although I was worried my Izzie didn't know how to swim but she did!) It was a happy dream full of crystal blue water, white sand, and horse back riding. It was so vivid my skin felt sun-kissed...
Then I woke up.
To the sound of my neighbor's snow blower.
Which could only mean one thing.
MORE SNOW.
UGH.
More Ice. More Snow. BLAH. I had my winter coat put away Winter!
Thus is the life of living in the Midwest. One day it feels like spring, the next it's a white wonderland.
WHEN IS SPRING GOING TO GET HERE? SERIOUSLY?
I need to move where it doesn't snow. Any suggestions?
I grew up in Florida and I hated it. I love the cold and snow. I guess the grass is always greener...or snowier as the case may be.

The high is 76 here and I am wearing capris and sandles. I cannot help you. Move to Houston.
ReplyDeleteWe could hang out all the time!lol
Was there a strange trap door on the island along with a statue with six toes?
ReplyDeleteFlowers are blooming out in Los Angeles, come out here! On second thought, LA is terrible, maybe try somewhere else first. I get nostalgic for snow in the winter, but a day or two back in Michigan usually cures me of that.
ReplyDeleteMy dream last night was of chasing Don Johnson's pitbull with Hugh Laurie's help. I think my subconscious is trying to tell me I watch too much tv.
Great post. I am from South Africa and where I live it doesn't snow...ever. We have to drive for a few hours to get to a town where it does snow. But I think it is a little far to move to.
