Re-Reading

Do you re-read books? It's a rare thing for me. Honestly, most of the books I read are okay, entertaining enough. But I don't love, love, love them enough to read them again. This is sad, I know. I'm a tough audience I guess.

There are those precious few that I will pick up again.

1) The Bell Jar (I read this at least once a year.)
2) The Dogs of Babel
3) Catcher in the Rye
4) This weekend I re-read The Disreputable History of Frankie-Landau Banks. I love this book.

Are you a re-reader?

  1. Definitely. But then I read so fast and so much that I don't retain them forever. I feel like something has to go to make room for the new. I'm lucky at this point to remember my name.

  2. I don't really re-read per se because I have so much that I want to get through in my lifetime.

  3. I am most definitely a re-reader. All the time. Every book. I love to devour books over and over. :)

  4. I do re-read occasionally. Usually it's a Harry Potter book or similar comfort material :)

  5. There are certain series of books I like to re-read a lot. Harry Potter, obviously. Ellen Emerson White's President's Daughter series is another. I can't read that series often enough.
