Somewhere Between...

Today I decided to use my little code from National Novel Writing Month and order a paperback copy of my book! I had so much fun creating the cover for it and I can't wait to see it! EEK! I am such a dork. It's not like it's even ready to be seen in print yet but whatever. It was fun to design a cover and as I tried to design, it always reminded me of what the focus should be.

Sometimes imagining a cover can help with that. Or imagining where it will sit on a book shelf. I think THE MYSTERIOUS ENLIGHTENMENT OF LESLIE LEE BAKER would sit between:

Both great reads!

Anyway...I'm just writing along...keeping my fingers crossed that something amazing might happen this year...

  1. That kind of creative visualization can be really inspiring. I used to walk through the bookstore and imagine where my book would fall on the shelves!

  2. I have my fingers crossed for you too. Although, it makes typing a little awkward.

  3. Art and writing make good bed partners in my opinion.

  4. Hey, something amazing WILL happen this year. You'll learn, you'll grow, the world will be waiting in anticipation to see all your talents - I know I will be, at least. :) And guess what? Being published is a part of that. I have total faith in you. :D

  5. I've been wanting to read both of these!! They look great! :D
I hope things work out for you as well and amazing things happen! I'm crossing my fingers for you! And myself a little! ha ha! :) Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm a follower now!
